Parkmerced Presents: Spooky Town Circle

Each year, there comes a time where the eeriness of the fog really starts to roll in, the goblins and ghouls begin to emerge, and things get just a little bit, well, spookier. Our location off the coast embraces Karl the Fog, but we’re also opening up our doors to all things that make Halloween at Parkmerced what it is. On Saturday, October 24th, from 1pm-9pm, we welcome you to our Spooky Town Circle!

Parkmerced will be transforming Juan Batista Circle into an attraction area fit for all ages. From costume contests and pumpkin pie eating contests for the kids to rock climbing mountains and life-size foosball matches for the adults – there is something for everybody. Not to mention a Pumpkin Smashing Pit where you can climb into an inflatable ball disguised as a pumpkin and then roll, dive, and smash into each other!

Kids will love meandering through hay bales, guiding them to each activity through a labyrinth of barriers. There will be plenty of opportunities to get lost in the fun! And in the Kids Koral, we’ll have engaging activities such as face painting, pumpkin decorating, a beanbag toss, and balloon sculptors. Of course, don’t miss the Parkmerced team that will be on hand to deliver information about our new developments and new amenities.

Don’t worry, we are NOT forgetting about the food. Since we figure popcorn will be on your mind after climbing into the corn pit filled with corn kernels, we’ll have popcorn, cotton candy, and snow cones waiting for you as well as food trucks. Our friends from Off The Grid will be rolling in at 4pm with more trucks just in time for dinnertime and the beer garden to open for the 21+ attendees.

At night, Juan Bautista Circle will illuminate and fascinate you with a spooky light show throughout the trees. Backed by a DJ-led music set, this is going to be one spooky good time! So, mark off October 24th in your calendars to celebrate Halloween at Parkmerced!
