Tips to prevent theft from a vehicle

  • Lock your doors and close the windows. Don't make it easy for a thief to break in or reach in and grab anything of value.

  • Something you think is not valuable, may be valuable to a thief. Remove loose change, sunglasses, GPS devices, bags, etc.

  • Remove all bags – just because you know what is in a bag and do not think it is valuable, a thief does not know what is inside.

  • Arm your vehicle alarm.
